It happens a lot. When newspapers and such publish photos, they frequently take a couple of similar shots and Photoshop them together to make a better photo. And sometimes the 'shopper in question fucks up and forgets to remove things like extra hands.

You can see the legs and left arm of someone behind her. The strange arm on her right side is the right arm of whoever is behind her. You can see her arm bends and joins with her sons arm.

NOT photoshopped. Christ guys. Both her arms are being held by her sons. There is a man walking behind her, it is his arm and suit jacket (notice the darker color starting at her elbow) that looks like her arm. If you look just to the right of her, you'll see the guys hand.
