Just wondering, was working in the woods recently and I loved my reaction to poison ivy.  Option number 2 for me, I get a red mark so I know I came into contact with some, but there's no itchy sensation whatsoever.

I have never gotten a poison ivy rash, so either I have never touched it or I am not allergic.

go find a poison ivy plant (not hard, since they're everywhere), and rub it all over your face.  we'll see.

Wow, I didn't know anyone could not react to it... I got into it one time, it sucked. It didn't start itching until the next day, so I didn't notice it and my leg rubbed on my other leg and I ended up getting it in like three spots.

No reaction, but then again I don't know if I have ever come in contact with it. I tend to be an attentive woodsman.

You don't automatically get immunity to it. If you've come in contact with it, then you get it, but if it's your 20th - 30th time getting it then you prolly won't get any side affects.

Maybe some hyper-intelligent Scot will import it for ye, like rabbits and thistles.

I didn't know it didn't effect some people either...

I know I have been places where I was warned to look out for it, and seen it once or twice... But I have never had a run in, or at least didn't know I did.

I do however get all kinds of annoying little bumps if I spend too much time rolling around in grass (or at least some kinds of grass?) So I would bet It would effect me if I came in contract with it?

We only have nettles here. And I have some kind of nettlophobia.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

i know a guy we went camping/hunting with yrs ago, total  fknut. we all got drunk as skunks, we eat dinner and he walks off after to dump in the woods and the drunk dumbass goes into a ivy patch does his thing and wipes with the ivy.   next morning the guy was in so much pain we took him to the hospital. turns out he was highly allergic to it.  he was in the hospital for a couple weeks.
