For a grown man, $400 is not a huge investment. In this essence, buying a new car is a huge investment.Mek-Stizzle wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
I'm 19, you're like...12. That australian dungeonmaster over there is probably 15.
Hey Mek, I board at another person's house and am un-employed. I recieve no financial support from anybody else. It's a waste of money, not an investment.

The OP aim of this thread wasn't to show that he own a big ass TV. He would have posted a picture of it instead. The point is the resolution is quite high, hence the screenshot.
And HDTV's aren't as widespread as you're making them, Freezer. There are alot of people who don't even know the meaning of HD .

It's ok Mek.
Mek, how long since your birthday. I'm just about the same age as you. And yeah, in my current situation a HDTV is not an investment for me. It's a waste of money.
New forum title tbh.Mek wrote:

If it's not an investment for a 12-year-old, then it's definitly not an investment for someone with a real income!
