Nice to see they are using the buses this time.
Serious stuff.

well, if you dont put any of your jewish hexes on it, things should be OK.Poseidon wrote:
Cat. 4 right now. Anyone think it'll get up to Cat. 5? It's still got a few days before landfall in the Gulf.

though if it does turn out bad, im blaming it on the jews...
Those systems over Africa are not the same type of systems that develop in subtropical waters. Atlantic Hurricanes/Tropical Storms are usually born around Cape Verde. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Verde-type_hurricane

Its rained for 5 minutes up here, I went into the basement. Hurricanes are scary
I dunno, the rain was kinda loud hitting my windows, we got it badKmarion wrote:

Is that the first time you have seen that? Each line represents a computer model. That is how they develop the cone of uncertainty (The two widest points). When it gets into the warm gulf waters they start falling into line.usmarine wrote:
lewl wtf are they using an Etch A Sketch?
Yea, they don't know crap until it hits the gulf. They (meteorologist) readily admit that.usmarine wrote:
i know kerry, i have seen them before. its just that some of the lines look like they were drawn by a 3yr old
true. could make a right hook and head for you. never know. although i guess it would be wise to go with where the majority of the models show it landing.Kmarion wrote:

i like to call it the cone of insainty.. once your under it you understand how insane it can make you with the will it hit me , am i safe ,wtf is gona happen stuff. me i think its when im under it.the cone of uncertainty
The guys I knew who majored in meteorology (we called it either pre-Business or pre-Psychology) said meteorology should be called Theoretical Fluid Dynamics...because the math is impossible and nobody knows what is going to happen, regardless.Kmarion wrote:
