can someone please post a screenshot of the game on high settings, with everything on? i would just like to see how it looks compared to mine, and how mine could look if i got a new system.
surely someone here is running a high end system?
Ryan, maybe specify what you want to see - texture detail, model detail, particular map - to make it easier for someone to oblige

one. there is already a thread about this.
two. just start a single player game with high graphics settings. sure you'll lag like hell, but you'll get to see what its like.

...unless you don't have a card that can do the high end stuff, like the whatever the anti-aliasing or whatever goes up to, in which case you won't.ThomasMorgan wrote:

I only play with the highest, nothing eles, but when you play with less some of the higher detailed thing are not there, so you can snipe a guy lying in the open
it's the same with shadows - if you play at the lowest settings, sometimes you get a literal shadow of a person with no blending (against a wall, say) and you know instantly where they are and can take them out. Small recompense for playing with such crappy, level-looks-like-"elite"-from-the-old-amiga-days geometry.chickenmuncher wrote:

Ugh, I started out with an FX5700 and had to play like that... until I upgraded to an Overclocked 6600 GT (The thing's so damn powerful it needs its own power source)oberst_enzian wrote:

I'm going to have nightmares because of that o_O
talking about performance, lets talk about FPS. I have a X800XL PCI-E and run on medium w/ 6X AA because I prefer faster FPS. And I average around 60-70.
is there a way to display your fps in-game like there is with cs?
Type "renderer.drawfps 1" in the console.oberst_enzian wrote:
