Rivers had a lot of help from his team. Peyton led his team to 9 consecutive victories to make the playoffs after coming back from surgery. You can make a case for lots of players, but Peyton did overcome quite a bit to make it to January this year.

Tbh you have a good point there and kudos to him for making the comeback,but I still think he doesn't deserve it.There are many great players this season where I would especially pay attention to Matt Cassel who stepped up for Tom Brady and almost led the Pats to the playoffs and of course Chad Pennington who led Dolphins to the playoffs after they had terrible last season.
