Well I think they are a joke too.  The overtime rules essentially put the outcome of the game on a coin toss.  I'd like to see something more like the college rules for OT implemented in the NFL.

Why not make it so both sides of the ball have to play instead of relying on half your team and a coin flip?  I personally think allowing your 'D' one shot and your 'O' one shot is far fairer then letting a coin pick which side of the ball you win/lose the game with.

And ig, your arguments are flawed imo.

If you win the toss, your offence has to step it up.
If you lose the toss, your defence AND your offence has to step it up.

The loser of the coin-toss has to have two great drives, so to speak, while the winner only needs one.

I'd defend it, but I think others have already done than well enough.

Also, Poseidon, I really don't understand your issues. I can merely observe and identify your problems, but I don't think I'm qualified to assist you with them. I'd seriously recommend seeing a mental health expert at some point in the near future, because this behavior, while harmless when expressed on the internet, has the potential to be quite damaging later in life.
