8x9800GX2-16 GPU monster-class computer

How many slots does the mobo have, I know that card has 2 GPU boards technically but are there mobos with 8 PCI-e slots now, because I'm having trouble finding how there could be 16 GPUs in there and not 8. Feel free to facepalm if need be.

You guys have to think beyond your desktop PCs. Something like this will have a nifty cooling system light-years beyond what you have at home. The number of mobos doesn't mean anything. At this level, these machines have much more in common with mainframes than with anything we've ever had in our houses.
