Attack Choppers are weak

How do you fly those attack choppers?They made them very weak in this game and the iglas are overpowered.
1.You cant see any Vehicels,Iglas in your hud.
2.I shoot a whole magazine on an igla but nothing happens same to all the walkers.
3.The range of the iglas is very big they can lock on through the fog and you dont even know which one is shooting.

I think the AAs shoot EMP blasts, not missles. You have to neutralize them first, then light 'em up with the cannon or hope they crash.

Also, try following the gunship even after you've locked on.

2142 gunships are my favorite vehicles of any game ever.

They are simply awesome if you are good at them, the handling is an epic balance of jet and helicopter, which gives you maximum potential, the TV missiles take down anything (make walkers burn) and the dogfights in those gunships are pure fun.

I had a 10 KDR with Gunships while I was playing 2142. Such fun. I hate the BF2 choppers compared to them, so slow, make you sitting ducks. Oh well, jets ftw.

But I do think in the right hands the gunships are as powerful, if not more so, than BF2 attack choppers, but not completely overpowered like BF2 jets.
And Sydney's right, the dogfights are a blast. So much maneuvering and evasive tactics. I don't see quite as much on BF2, they usually end pretty quickly.
