SO i asked my parents if i could build one or have someone build one and they said no. What computers are for gaming? My current pc can only run bf2 for 10 - 20 minutes.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. Whats the point of buying a new one a e6400 is more then capable for running most of the newer games that are out right now. The only thing that is really shit in your system is the 7300LE and maybe 1gb more of ram.

Yeah, I always see those pre-built PCs advertised as "Extremely powerful gaming machines", with a mid-range dual core, 2GB 667MHz DDR2, and a 8600 for the same price that would get you a Q6600, 4GB 800MHz DDR2 and a 4870.

If you're gonna add on, could you possibly tell me what mobo you have and the budget you or your parents are set on?

Probably not.
It's really easy though, I mean, if you can put Legos together, then there should be no problem.
