Was trying to figger out how fing many points i needed to rank up from that first rank (I sucked so bad back then). So, i googled something like bf2 ranks and got the UBAR page. Stumbled across the forums a few days later.
I joined a clan, someone linked to a page with their stats on BF2s, I started using it. Some months later I joined the forums.

Looked for BF2 stats, made one anodyne post about fighter aircraft, FEOS weighed in with a pompous post about how he knew everything and the rest is history.
