I just installed bf2 a few days ago & I can play fine for about 15 min. or so & then it tell me "there is a problem with your connection". Once it does that it takes me back to the main screen & it doesn't save any of my progress or anything. Could someone please tell me what I could or should do about this???? Thanks!
What kind of connection do you have? Also, have you updated punkbuster or patched the game?
Go to the punkbuster website (www.evenbalance.com) and install the pbsetup.exe and try updating BF2. Also make sure your game is version 1.41.

I have a cable modem & no I haven't patched it any. Which ones would I use, where do I go to get them, etc.? Sorry, but I used to play a while ago, but my ex took care of all the tech. stuff so I'm not used to doing this by myself.
