Chocolate brownies are great with peppermint flavouring added to them, or vanilla extract, personally i like them equally, melted white chocolate goes very nicely as a topping.
I am kinda a brownie expert lol, I was forced to do all my GCSE food tech coursework on chocolate brownies (I went to a high school that was also a technology college so we were forced to take a technology and i though being able to cook would be the most usefull). I spent 2 months making a different type of brownies each week, it gets bloody hard to think of variations on them after a couple of weeks.
