Grappling hook/blackhawk glitch

ok i searched to see if someone else has found this glitch yet and didnt so dont yell at me if it has . So I was playing around on a local server messing around with the grappling hook and climbing to insane spots, and i managed to make it stay in mid air a short bti in the air. so i didnt think much of it kept climbing around. So then my bro decides he want to mess around too but on a different map. So We kept messing around and i try to show him again and it went really high and stayed there and we could climb it in mid air. (posting pics later of the inside thing) after a while it disappears then i do it again and my brother wants to fly at me in the black hawk and funnily anough it goes right through you so the next tim I jumped off the grappling hook and into the middle of the blackhawk when I was inside it. this is a really fun glitch and i'll tell you how to do it when i get the pics i only took a coupl not very good ones though i'll post it

that'd be totally awesome! picture it: you climb up to it, put the c4 on - but then it takes off, and you're sliding back down the rope! oh no! you fly around the city on the rope for awhile, and then jump and pull your chute... while you're parachuting down and watching that fathawk fly off, you pull out your detonator and hit the switch... then come to a smooth landing while some cool Bond music plays in the background...

lol, maybe that'll be boosterpack 3 - Battlefield 2: Secret Agents, the first boosterpack that comes with female character models!

btw it should be logical that people in choppers can drop a rope and slide down like they did it in Black Hawk Down (rappeling)

1. I have not been able to deploy grappling or zip from a blackhawk, or any other vehicle. If you manage to do so, it is probably due to collision detection issues on the network side i.e. lag on either end.

2. Assuming you could manage to put your zip line through any vehicle (the line should not deploy across vehicle bodies), you will very likely die the moment you jump into the line. A common kill tactic in Ghost Town is to fly choppers through zip lines while people are running them. I am not sure if this is 100% true as server side collision is non existent on BF2, but they die regardless of the position on the zip line. The zip line appears deployed after the case. Perhaps someone with a couple friends could attempt to use the zip line after the case and see what happens.

If anyone has different experiences, please let me know, I would be very pleased to find I am wrong about these two statements.

oh god, please dont tell anyone else any glitches about the grappling hook. I know enough of them to realize it could be a serious problem if more people knew, but i also know enough to never do it myself or risk a wipe or whatnot. too many stupid people out there who would abuse it and too many people who would jump at the chance to get somebody wiped.
