[TF2] Skin I made doesn't show up in game

So I made a custom skin for the sticky-bomb launcher, not much I just changed the tan colors to grey, but when I tried using it in game it doesn't work. I made the w_stickybomb_launcher.vtf/vmf and v_stickybomblauncer.vtf/vmt right but they don't show in game.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Did you try going on different servers? Some servers have it so that only the normal skins are allowed.

yeah, a few. But the weird thing is that in game in the Character loadout screen it shows it all fine.

nevermind, I fixed the vmt files (used defaults tbh) and now it works fine.
