Are you sure the Ubar i corret on the "Staff Officer Ribbon" because i got mine when i only had 48 points (only reached 50 2min later)
Just hope server reports it in took me long enough

I got mine at 40 points (according to the counter in my commander screen) check my site, I've got a screen shot of it.

Thought i got mine at 40 points, too....
But i tried 2 or 3 times to get it, so i'm not 100% about that....

Well, I managed to get my basic command badge (which requires 40 command points in a round) without getting the staff officer ribbon... It is definitely more than 40.

Also, this should have been posted here.

well now that makes me think to my command badge and I got mine at 35 points and in fact i didn't even hit 40 by the end of the round.  I remember I was in a panic cuz i suck as a cmdr...points wise anyways...and then i got it.  As for the ribbon, I have hit 45 points and not gotten it...but again i did get my commander badge at 35 points.

AFAIK TKs DON'T impact awards.

Meaning, if you had 40 points, but TKed 2 people from arty, your real score would be 52. Therefore you reached the 50 mark. Though you TKed, the points still register as commander points for the round. I don't believe that it is what the top of the commander screen says, but your total points you've accumulated, meaning TKs don't matter . . . for awards that is.

Just played my 3rd time as Commander, can verify that ubar is correct as it is...

I actually got Vet Engineer Badge, then seconds later, as I scored the repair point, got the Basic Command Badge at 40 points.  The game continued and on 50 points + a couple of seconds, got the Staff Officer ribbon.
