Any one know of some good Dreamweaver tutorials? Preferably ones that incorporate layouts made in Photoshop. I've found a few but nothing that great or helpful...

Google was the first place I looked. I suppose if you aren't familiar with Dreamweaver you wouldn't know what I mean about Photoshop layouts. Designs made in Photoshop can be opened in Dreamweaver and made into websites.

Omni: taking Photoshop designs and integrating them directly in Dreamweaver is going to get you megabyte-size sites. I'd try learning HTML (and reading up on web-2.0 designs)

I don't see how, unless you clutter it with tons of images. The layout is just designed in PS then coded (in html) in Dreamweaver. Some good tutorials have been posted so far, and I haven't had any problems with large files or long loading times.

Mind you, that tutorial looks awful anyway.
But yeah, I suggest you read up on Web2.0, because it's all about using as few resources as possible.

what people do is make a layout in photoshop... then slice the pics up so they are smaller...you can check the performance of your page in dreamweaver... and when you save in photoshop... most people have highspeed internet now so it's not as important... but its always good to have fast loading sites...

I dunno about other designers out there, but I usually either make the layout in Ai or PS, and then slice every time I design... It's just a question of how you slice, and what you save the files as.
