Also no Megan Fox, because she called Michael Bay a Nazi.

Wasn't what I was expecting at all. Way too many quiet moments with thoughtful music in it for my taste.

At the same time, when you're watching Transformers, complex plot lines (plenty of movies for that) take second place to giant robots beating each other up. I thought it was better than the previous two because I could see what's going on.

I liked the film, an interesting story, well acted. However this would have benefited from a better ending.

Seconded, Pay it Forward is a pretty good movie. Worth watching, if you haven't seen it already.

Requiem For A Dream - 9/10

Aronofsky's work really is brutal to watch isn't it, but at the same time it makes you realize what a brilliant director he is. The closing sequence of this film will stick with me for a long time, the emotions I felt once the credits started rolling were quite crushing I must say, and any film that can do that is special. It takes you in, softens you up, and spits you back out.

Also Jared Leto should give up the music, he's a great actor !

Fast Five - 7.5/10

Not as good as the original, but close. All of the even numbered FF movies suck, all the odd numbered ones are actually pretty good. So that means avoid Fast Six like the plague.

Green Lantern - 8/10

I think it's necessary to again state that I never really rate comic book movies compared to other sorts of films. A lot of people enjoy them for entirely different reasons or hate them for the same. Since comics are never really solid on making a ton of sense or strung together in logical order, I can hardly fault a comic book movie for veering from one of a thousand variations people might have wanted it to address.

That said, it's fun to watch. Not as much Green Lantern energy constructs as I'd have liked to seen, but it was worth it. I remember critics on the radio lambasting the film for being ill-explained or making no sense to someone who isn't a comic reader, but a quarter of the film was spent explaining what's going to happen, why and what's going on. So whatever they were talking about, plenty of non-readers were able to decipher it. Great graphics, alright characterization, forgettable music. No offense to whoever wrote the soundtrack because that could've been the goal all along.

My life is an empty pit without Uzique here to tell me what a waste of time my post was.

It was pretty bad as far as comic book movies go.  Unless you're giving 1 for the movie, 5 for blake lively and 2 for ryan reynolds.  in that case its an acceptable rating

The ad looked cheesearific and anyone with a modicum of taste and a sense of decency would avoid such a film like the plague.

Wut? That movie was piss poor. Only good thing about it was that old man Freeman was a bad guy for once.
