Not too over the top? because the series sort of started out as NFS: The movie and slowly turned into retarded 'car battles' and a lame story.
All i wanted was fast tuned cars racing and maybe a few gun shots here and there.

I still want to see it though.

I agree with 6/10 review. It was a typical Jolie action packed movie. I think her role as the heroine has become redundant to a point where her characters are now indistinguishable. Salt wasn't bad, just needed the right person for the main role, IMO.
