Watched the Battlestar Galactica pilot yesterday. That was surprisingly good.
I grew up watching the original and I love what they have done with the template. Nothing fancy pancy holographic interface voice activated AI stuff like it´s been so popular over the last years. Oldschool, printed orders and communiqués, pens on a glass board, that kinda stuff. Sure had its cheesy moments, but overall I´m really excited to see the series now.
Also, I would eat chocolate out of Tricia Helfers badonkadonk.

So far I´ve watched the first 5 episodes of Season one. And I really like it so far.

Much better than I was expecting. It should have gone on for another hour though imo. You never really found out if he killed that girl, and the other hour could easily have been DeNiro deciding to take the drug and them both battling over the world resources.

Some of the best acting I've ever seen, Hilary Swank deserved her oscar for this role. A great story and I'm surprised it's not more well known and mainstream. Glad I let my dear mother talk me into watching this.

Mostly delivers what you'd expect from an action assassin movie, but the climax seemed a bit short lived though. Also the ending was as transparent as glass.

I've been hearing that it's compete shit more and more. I heard it has some of the most crappy dialogue for a sci fi action movie and that the only good thing is Aaron Eckhart's acting.
But that's just what I've heard from a few people that have seen. I'm also kinda curious wether it's as bad as they say it is.

The Prestige

was a really really good film. Fantastically acted, aside from Christopher Bale's accent, that was the only downside to it.

I highly recommend, very clever and at points heart wrenching.
