I'm feeling nice, so I gave it that. Its kinda like one of those raunchy rom coms you go to see expecting to see a lot of tits, a shitty story, and a couple laughs. Except it didn't really deliver on the laughs, they tried too hard. Also it didn't have much for a story (though it was original I guess so I give it that). Finally, there was one set of tits (which caused all the 14 year olds in the theater to start cheering).

This was truly amazing. Independent film. Rom Com. Story was unpredictable and honestly very original in my opinion. Acting was good/great/whatever I suck at rating that but I thought it was good. Good character development, etc, etc. Good movie.

Fargo - nothing like as good as everyone made it out to be. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but I think everyone really overhyped it to me, so I couldn't enjoy it as much. 7/10.

It wasn't really my type of movie (hence the low score), but I already knew that before i started watching it. Be that as it may, it was very good. I also see why people found it so disturbingly weird, but it all fell together brilliantly and made the movie the masterpiece that it is.

Finally watched Inception.
Thought it was pretty cool - don't see what all the hate's about, but also don't see what all the love's about. Just a good film.
Interesting to know that there weren't many special effects used.
Also, the ending was interesting.

If i'd do that, most of my movieratings would be 4, with a few 3's, maybe one or two 1-2's and two or three of 5. I think 1 to 10 gives you a lot clearer rating. But there should be some guidelines made like you have with your 1-5Kmar wrote:

If a movie is deserving of a positive review there is plenty of difference between liked it, really liked it, and loved it. That's all people really want to know. In fact most people just want to know if it's worth watching.
"I liked it a little more than just liking it but not enough to really like it" ..lol. It just seems pointless to me. Any opinion beyond 1-5 should be accompanied by text. Actually, I think any rating should have a review attached to it .. but whatever .

As for the opinion of people, i like to know what other's think of a movie i may have liked/disliked, movie expert or not.
