OMG WHAT CAN THE METAPHOR OF A BURNING HOUSE POSSIBLY MEAN? IS IT A SYMBOL FOR SOMETHING? I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND
sorry the meaning isn't clearly laid out in a textbook for you

I let someone at work borrow my copy of syecdoche and haven't got it back in like 2 weeks, want to rewatch.
It seems to me that if you understand Synecdoche you become a Synecdouchebag
If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.
it seems to be that you pride yourself on being pretty much tasteless and unintelligent about everything, rukus
it's a film for film viewers, for people that like something to think about and digest, for people that like to rewatch and ponder
if you don't like it... fair enough... but be advised you are in a thread dedicated to the discussion of films

a good film, like a good book, has a multiplicity of meanings and possible interpretations.
what's the fun in watching a film and enjoying its depth if somebody just tells you 'a-b-c' or 'xyz'?
don't be such a numpty.

well considering the dialogue of that scene very explicitly spells out the symbol of the burning house... it doesn't need explanation

sex and the city 2- 6.5/10 it's just like one of the episodes but 2 hours and 30 minutes. felt long. Spoiler (highlight to read):
cutesy get to see carrie with aiden one more time.. i love samantha's humor. oh and most of the movie was shot in Abu Dhabi - beautiful locations and fun outfits(of course) the entire movie. each girl get's her own hot butler too. Samantha get's arrested for having sex on the beach in Abu Dhabi so there is a big focus on cultural differences but anyway in the end of the movie finally she gets freedom - having sex on the beach in the us and fireworks are going off red white and blue. terrible lol

why do you need to be 'cultured' to understand a straightforward fucking dialogue?PrivateVendetta wrote:

having basic hearing skills has nothing to do with culture

Zombieland - 8/10, could have done with more pace, maybe that was the point, don't know.
The Kings Speech - 9/10, Very good, great acting, direction etc, deducted one point as apparently its not all that historically accurate.

Fuck Israel
He called you out to explain it, and now it doesn't need explaining?Uzique wrote:
