the main character reminds me of henry spencer (eraserhead)

for me, this movie is, among other things, about idealism

and of course art and commerce

the last half an hour reminds me of lynch-movies. not of aesthetic reasons but with regards to the content. seems pretty essayistic to me

The Insider 7/10

I watched this for my Business Law class and I actually enjoyed this drama film.  Some parts were slow, but overall it was a solid movie.  I didn't think I would have liked it as much because of the plot.  It seems like Russell Crowe either plays a really weird dude with problems or a badass...He was the really weird dude with problems in this one...

Would have been a 5, but the Cheadle factor automatically adds a point to any film. Cheadltastic.

It's 3 hours long but it's worth it, one of my faves.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

4/10

Movie barely described anything going on and 70% of it was fucking spent in some random ass forest with people QQing about stupid shit.

You pretty much described the last few movies. Harry Potter has jumped so many hands, left so much out and invented so much completely new and unnecessary shit that I think it's lost its way. The series has one last chance to make good on itself and finally make sense.

Atleast in the older movies I was enthralled and entertained by the magic n shit.  In this one it just feels like a fucking TV drama

I regret the loss of Richard Harris, but I don't think Michael Gambon does all that bad of a job. The intensity is just the way he's being directed.

Still, I think Azkaban was the last of the really great ones. The rest just felt...rushed and disjointed, lacking very many elements that link them to their predecessors and successors.

e: Another thing I regret is the way they're dropping musical focus. This last movie didn't really have the kind of leitmotif I had grown used to from pretty much all the films.

seen some stupid movies on the Sci Fi channels such as Yeti, Ice Spiders, and Monster Ark the first two 4/10
the last one 3.5/10

I watched the Monster Ark one for the most part, the movie had some stupid parts.. for example they would be like we need to find an entrance to the tomb or whatever.... and the next second they would be inside lol.... then they would be like we need to find a way after the tomb is collapsing and then the next frame somehow they all managed to make it out... lol....

just when you think it cant get any worse ... then the next scene something happens and you are like wtf... just happened lol... the only good thing about is that chick Amanda Crew was in it...

Hi I'm Denzel Washington for my next movie I will be playing the role of infallible black man.

Watched the oldie Glengarry Glen Ross, 8.5/10. Some really strong performances by all.
