The lead up to the chariot race was epic.

Rio Bravo 1959 - Howard Hawks best movie imo 9/10 - John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson and a pure young version of Angie Dickinson.

The time-period the movie was made didn't see much action and sex in movies, this movie had its final scene changed several times just because it indicated that John Wayne and Angie Dickinson would have sex after the movie ended ... now where did that kind of sensorship disappear?

Dialogue is excellent, not so fast paced as GI Joe but the few action scenes are brilliantly directed, Walter Brennan with his foolish laughter and sour comments spice up the movie ... definitely one of my western favorites

The Ghost Writer - 6/10

Okay story I suppose, very nice filming locations (Martha's Vinyard off of Cape Cod, MA).  The ending was pretty meh and left a lot of loose ends.  I dont know how they filmed it either since Pedophile Polanski can't enter the US and he was the director...

As much as I wanted to like this movie, I honestly gotta say it sucked.  Wack plot, wack dialogue, wack cinematography.  I am disappoint.

I thought it was a good old shoot em up. did you really expect more? I was expecting nothing more and I enjoyed it, the kind of movie you can have running in the back ground and not get bored with, but not have to pay attention to at the same time.

I'm all for brainless shoot-em-ups but this movie has absolutely no substance or style compared to it's phenomenal casts' library.  Its like a 20 year high school reunion where everyone is old and fat and pathetic and washed up.

First off what was with that wack ass plot. Sylvester Stallone and his team accept a job, scout out the location, decide the job isn't worth it and cancel the deal. Stallone then decides he's in love or some shit and decides to go back and the rest of the team follow him. They then proceed to do the job they would've gotten paid to do and in the end STALLONE DOESN'T EVEN GET THE GIRL. Also WTF was with Dolph Lundgren? He goes crazy, sells out his team, gets shot by Stallone, then at the end everyone is all like "lol jk we cool lets live happily ever after".

The cinematography blows. This movie looks like it was shot by a 5 year old spastic monkey. How many closeups of Sylvester Stallone's paunchy old man face do i need to remind me he's washed up and passed his prime? A 5 minute shot of of Mickey Rourke's salami lips as he waxes on about his soul?

The dialogue was so bland and insipid by action movie standards. There was like 1 good line in the whole movie ("He wants to be president"). The rest was just lame.

LOL shit, I was thinking "The Losers" actually havent seen the expendables yet.

Paranormal Activity. 6/10

Not as scary as I was expecting it to be, but I'm pretty shit with scary films so I'll guess we'll see if I dream to know if it fucked with me in any way
