"The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" - 9/10

And now for something completely different. Terry Gilliam movies can be odd, and this one was made more so by the loss of Heath Ledger. But they did a great job of recovering. It's established that whenever his character enters a pocket dimension, his looks change.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
It's leik this guy who you thought was kind of a ponce spots another ponce stretched under a bridge so the world's oldest living ponce takes him in to meet his poncy daughter and then ponce A is getting jealous and starts acting like a twat whenever ponce B is around poncette but it turns out ponce B is really the world-class fuck who even Satan, the father of ponces hates, so omega ponce has to do him in.

WITH HIS BRAIN.

A-Team - 7/10.
It wasn't the same as the TV series, oh well.

I was disappointed Jessica Biel kept her clothes on throughout, I mean they could have been blown off in the downdraft from a helipcopter - at least partially, or she could have been thrown in a river, or something....

No your advantage where you had 100% of your fighting force to commit, he had an Empire and a military dotted around the globe. I'm sure should the current leaders of the time have understood just how much bragging future generations of ill informed Americans would partake in they'd have commited the full British Military and wiped out you troublesome colonials. Maybe if the colonists had equal rights as British citizens, they wouldn't have revolted.

Mel Gibson winning the American War if Independence all by himself lol...

its more of a film for shifty and war man, thousands of british red coats being slaughtered by a couple of militia armies, still... some decent battle sequences
My favorite (and the most effective, I think) scene in the whole movie was the battle fought from the view of a farmhouse window. The rest of it was Braveheart with muskets.

If you used your entire military France would of just invaded homeland England. Then what?

Yup.

Then when they got out of line and started messing with Canada we marched on Washington and burnt down the White House.....

Yet again, not following through because we had more important things to be doing (like dealing with Napoleon).

Yea...that's the thing no one here really likes to admit...  Failing to invade Canada at least twice and only continuing to exist because England was busy in 1812-1814.  lol

Daybreakers: A reversed vampire movie, the vampires are in control of society and hunt people for their matrix like bloodfarms but the humans are too few and a blood-shortage is eminent ... the plot is good but not executed very well.

So in the vampire category I'll give it a 8/10 for the twist but as a movie in general I think 6/10 is sufficient.

Worth a watch but not a keeper.

6.5/10 Was pretty good, odd plot though. Reminded me abit of the remake of Dawn of the Dead.

Monsters vs Aliens - 8/10
Really well done movie. Crazy story, lovely characters. Very entertaining.

Gamer - 5/10
Started out promising but turned from a perverted, disturbing view on society to a perverted bloodshed movie. Meh.

Kick-Ass - 7/10
Weird movie, left me puzzled. It changes tone and atmosphere quite a few times, ranging from almost slapstick comedy to bitter seriousness. Overall entertaining, but weird.

Greenzone - 2/10

Really Nic? I thought that movie was rather poorly put together.

In theatre; Killers - 10/10 - Was funny and entertaining, all I was lookin' for.
At home; Lethal Weapon 2 - 9/10 - Good movie, but nowhere as good as the first.

yeah I liked most of it, the shots in the boat at the end were laughable though.
