Sorry, but I'm calling BS right here. I've ridden around with my friend and his F355 and that car is absolutely horrid to live with. Pain in the ass to get in and out of and I'm used to getting in and out of some pretty fast stuff. Gigantic fucking doors and wider than a rap girl's ass. He says his 360 was worse and that's why he sold it. Went to the Ferrari dealer with him and we were checking out a 458 and it's even larger than the 430 and the 430 is larger than the 360. Ferraris are fat cars. The California looks so small in pictures but it's a gargantuan of a convertible in person.FloppY_ wrote:

A Maserati would be easier to live with on most days simply because they're designed to be something you can live with. A Porsche 911 is a very good daily car, drove my uncle's 996 around a number of times and it's very comfy. But don't EVER say a Lamborghini or a Ferrari can be lived with on a daily basis. Certainly, they can be tolerated, but that's not a car you want to have to tolerate on a daily basis in traffic. At normal speeds they are absolutely dreadful cars.

stop talking shit.

Shit? What shit? In what way is a Ferrari capable of being dealt with on a daily basis? What are it's pros? I guarantee the cons is a lot longer. Certainly in the US living with a Ferrari would be much easier because the streets everywhere are generally wider but in Europe it's a nightmare, plain and simple.
Saw a DB7 Vantage convertible today, though, but didn't have the presence of mind to actually take a picture. Slick looking car, though.
The Owner of Coolshop owns a ferrari 355, It's really not as big as you make it sound tbh... Average sedan/wagon these days are like boats on wheels, and they still get around...CapnNismo wrote:

nah, not plain and simple. maybe in a third world country like Austria but my mother uses her Gallardo every day with no trouble. only reason i don't use mine every day is because it isn't very practical for work. she used her 458 every day before it was sold, it isn't too big.
granted her 599 GTO and SV wouldn't be used every day because they are huge, not because they're too uncomfortable, loud or too harsh. but then again they aren't built for those things anyway.
it isn't some kind of living hell driving these cars on normal roads like you make it out to be.

You're right for the most part, but actually DRIVING a F355 is a lot different than a sedan. Opening the doors are A LOT different than a sedan. The doors on a F355 are gigantic. Just opening it a bit already takes up more room than is necessary and the door isn't even open enough to really effectively squeeze through. The seats in a F355 are very comfy, though - if you're going to be stuck in an exotic for a long trip, it's certainly not a bad one to be in.
That's not saying I don't like Ferraris, though. Love em. But good enough for the daily grind? Not a chance in hell. The GT cars (5xx, 612 and maybe the California) I would imagine are better because they're actually designed to be driven more often.

355 is also 16 years old.CapnNismo wrote:

I'll give you that the Gallardo is a much nicer car to live with on a daily basis, that's true. Murcielago is a boat, though.Toilet Sex wrote:

do you have really narrow roads there or something? it isn't torture to drive these cars every day like you seem to think. they're a pleasure to drive daily.CapnNismo wrote:

Also, going by your logic a Range Rover must be an impractical everyday car. Oh, and EVERY MPV ever made.

If you're complaining about small roads, just buy a honda CRX. I just bought one and it's literally the smallest car ever.
