Saw this same McMerc 722 the other day.

Also, yesterday: AM V12 Vantage and Audi S8 having a little race around Queen's Park. It's the middle of January and it was -5.

You will still have to pay the same price, that huge tag comes from tax... and you pay the tax whether you buy it here with tax or outside without tax

What's the ridiculous tax for?
Registration tax = +180% of the vehicle base price

I would say enviromental tax, but we pay a ton of that on our fuel aswell

Then again, the base-income is twice of that in the UK while taxes are 40-60 percent as opposed to Britains 25%...
Do brits need health care insurance? we get everything free, education (University is free aswell), medical treatment (gov. supports you if you need expensive medicine or if you are unemployed and actively seek work)...

But meh, vehicle tax is rediculous here in Denmark, and it is not something that will change in the near future, if they "fixed" it over a spand of less than 10 years it would shatter the used car market....

If it wasn't for family and unfamiliar laws, I would move to the UK or Sweden :[
