a Lambo salesman sorted it out. test drive a few McLarens, drinks and a meal in Gusto from Lambo Manchester and some others went to a hotel to get smashed but i passed on that lol. went for a drive though wilmslow/knutsford/alderley, it was pretty awesome to say the least

gusto is good shit. what's the mclaren like, every review i've seen says it feels better technically than a lambo/ferrari, but has no soul

that's pretty much right... i didn't drive one though, my mum has one so i've driven that one. i don't like them at all, they look pretty boring, sound boring/fake and i just don't want one. the one today which turned up in white looked incredible though

the sound is entirely fake (compared to italian stuff where they generally don't mess around with the note that much), there was a docu on bbc a few months back, they have full on no-echo chambers and spent like 2 years shaping the exhaust specifically to get the right note that people would associate with speed or something. the entire production of the car from the engine to little things like mirrors is one huge geekfest. i do think it looks good though, although it still looks like it was designed for purpose and not for style.
