I just don't get why people only think people buy exotic supercars for the speed. Speed has nothing to do with it when you can only do 110km/h on the highway.
TSex has already said he takes it to track days. But I would rather be stuck in an exotic on my day to day drive than a tuned up racer that are only good for the occasional track day and showing how little your willy is to the 13 year olds at the lights as you tear out and beat that minivan.

I like my motorbike. Sportbikes are supercars for the poor. And many of them will beat any car off the line.

It's funny how you guys just throw accusations out that I'm gonna rice out my shit and put body kits on it, which I'm not.
I'm building this car to be a fast, daily driver that'll be able to own most cars when it comes to auto-x and drag, what ever. I'm not putting a body kit on my car because they're gay as fuck, Fast and the Furious is just a dumb fucking movie that ruined it for everyone. You will never find me driving a car with a fucking dumb ass paint job, under glow and stickers all over, that's ricer shit and it's not what I do.

And for the price of a superbike I could still make my car faster... Which you don't seem to understand either.
And I could still take a fraction of the cost of a Lambo, and still make my Honda perform better than it. On the street, or on the track. That's what a Lambo is, a performance car. If a Lambo isn't about go fast duties than what is it about? Oh, right, status symbol and "wow look at me" factor. You don't buy a Lambo to be comfortable on your way to work, you buy a fucking Rolls Royce or a Bentley, y'know, a luxury car.

i have one because i had a Lambo poster on my wall when i was 10, i wanted a Ferrari because my dad had an F40, not because it's some status symbol. i didn't have posters of modified Hondas. maybe you did, i'm not knocking that, what i'm talking about is you seem to think the drag races matter. they really don't, if Lamborghini thought they did, they'd build something much faster than what they do. a Lambo is the performance, sound, quality, beautiful, striking and that car i had pictures of on my wall. they're a pleasure to own even when not with the car. Lamborghini and Ferrari fly my mother out to italy quite regularly for launch events, private events and all kinds of things. all out of their own pocket. she even got to ride in a 458 around a track with Alonso, i can't see Honda doing that funnily enough

Camm, based on your first post I'm going to assume that you know jack shit about cars, or boosted Honda's for that matter. Superbikes are fast, yes, but they aren't exactly doing 7 second quarter miles. It's not hard to build a 10 second street car that could easily walk a superbike.Camm wrote:

And you need to look at what the definition of a ricer is. I'm not going around revving my fucking engine at every car with an aftermarket exhaust. Just because I street race someone does not make me a ricer. If I had a gay ass body kit, euro tail lights, axle back exhaust and little to no performance modification, then yes I'd be a ricer.
But I'm rebuilding an engine from the crank up, adding a turbo kit, coil over suspension, putting a 5-lug conversion from the Integra type-R on, and a shit load of other things. And the car will look stock minus the JDM front it will have.
And Tsex, I honestly don't know why I'm arguing with you, a Lambo is a completely different category (like you said) from my car. I'm just young and want a fast car, and love Honda's, so I defend my beloved H badge. I just can't afford a V12 Vanquish, So my 500WHP Honda CRX will have to do.
