I'm going into Grade 11, and in grade 12, I write my last Provincial Achievement Test. Are A-Levels American stuff?

EDIT: To stay on topic, when I finished HS and got accepted into university (back in the stone age) I did all my registration stuff and took a 3-month vacation to New Orleans.
