If you play Mass Effect on the PC without any problems, could you post what sound card you're using?

Mine crashes after anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes of gameplay, and the error log in My Documents says my sound is unsupported, so I thought of just buying a new card..

8800GT. No graphical problems at all. Sometimes during dialogue the character's don't speak though. It might be an issue with my sound card (Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer). I might consider getting the latest beta drivers if it persists.

I enjoy it for the few minutes I'm able to play.

I'm running a 8600 GT with SigmaTel build in audio.

According to the error log, my audio is unsupported, so I figure if I get a card that someone else is using without problems, it might work.
..Besides, I want a new sound card anyways.
