BF2S Forums BF2 1.41 Patch Help.

I just got BF2 on Tuesday and installed it and went to install the 1.41 patch on then CD and it said everything went ok so I restarted my computer and started up BF2 but it still said it was version 1.1.

So I uninstall BF2 and tried again but the same thing happened. I downloaded the patch off EA and tried with that but still it says it's on 1.1

Any ideas to what I've done wrong or need to do?

I believe the game still shows up as version 1.1 even though its not.

The way to tell if the patch has updated correctly is to search for multiplayer servers, with the "same version" ticked.

If you get thousands, you've got the latest patch, if you've only got a few, then the patch didn't install.

Edit- The 1.41 patch should show the version as "1.1.2965-797.0" ingame, if youve got this version, youve got the patch, if you haven't...
