I did tell you I want better performing card than GTX 460 dumkopf, which you would have seen if you actually read the post.Finray wrote:
So why don't you try explaining to me then, instead of just (wrongly) calling me jealous that I can't afford it.

Ooo 120fps at 1680x1050 bollocks....
and at half the powerconsumption of a 4870 Impressive
Christ, Finny, your Uzique impersonation is horrible, stop trying. You're neither witty nor funny.Finray wrote:
I love the assumption that I couldn't afford it. I could, btw, if I wanted to.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

why does there need to be any more of a justification from the consumer?
why do people buy BMW's instead of 2nd hand pug 106's?
cause they want them? oooh, okay. guess that's how the customer behaviour works.
Anyway, people buy BMWs over Pugs because there's a notable difference. Going from 16xMSAA to 32xMSAA and 120FPS to 240FPS does not warrant the extra cost
but then again that's just my opinion. Better things to spend the money on.
Not too bad, UT3 favors heavily dual-GPU setups. Things get more interesting in newer games tho.Ilocano wrote:

It is not waste for me. "Big bad world" it sure is, but it has treated me well enough to occasionally afford what I want.Finray wrote:
Idk, maybe I'm just growing up and seeing that spending money on a computer is a waste when you're out in the big bad world.
Q9300, 4GB DDR2, 5770 (perhaps 2 come christmas) is gonna do me for at LEAST the next year, perhaps two.
