The Probooks in that price range come with some hefty graphics hardware if you want to, the same goes for the Lenovo W series.

Oh, I meant the Elitebooks. There's an 8740w with some pretty decent graphics available in Finland for about 1700€.
The elitebooks use Nvidia Quadros or AMD Firepro's... just the same as the lenovo

What does it matter what they're branded as? They're still the same GPU, just with another BIOS. They run just as fast as their consumer level counterparts.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Except there is a chance the card will cause gfx errors thanks to drivers and bios...

I'd hate buying a $1600 laptop only to find out that half my games are fucked...

How about no? If anything, the enterprise cards should be more stable than the consumer counterparts.

Pics will load once they're uploaded to my Dropbox.

I don't think I'm going to keep them, they don't seem too suited for gym use. The in-line control is too heavy, and what I thought was a shirt-clip turned out to be what made it work.. and that snapped off. Oops.

I'm interested in getting into UAVs and thought this would be a quick and dirty way of doing some feasibility testing for the applications I'm looking at..

Pretty sweet, Dilbert. If you get into it, be sure to post about it here (or maybe just make a blog website for it).

check this guy's videos. You might find it interesting for your intended application.

I am waiting for him to update to a web enabled phone so he can fly outside the normal range of radio-controlled planes.
Imagine using your mobile phone service to control the plane! His newest video is with a 130 gr plane but flying larger more stable should work just as well. Hell you could develop a computer interface to fly the RC plane in a programmed circuit using a web/gps phone and control the camera without worrying about flying it yourself.

This guy flies RC planes in first person POV. He mounts a servo camera controlled by a gyro headset in the pilot's position.
