Worst. Disk cloning software. Ever. It runs on some horribly slow integrated version of BLOODY WINDOWS!

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
How much of a pain in the dick would it be to reformat from an image of my system drive? TBH, in my entire degree at uni and my job doing IT I havent done this yet... Does the program compress teh files to fit on a DVD or Bluray?
*edit, shit i thought this was the open thread... /fail

Yes it does compress it to DVD, a 20GB of data should take approx 3GB from my experience from an older Ghost version.SonderKommando wrote:

Just ordered today...
Kept going back and forth between dropping the money on this, and going for the cheaper navigator version that is only 2 button.
I hate wishing I bought more later though, so I decided to step it up.
Academic discount for 52% off FTW. Now I just have to wait for them to verify my proof of enrollment. Why do I always buy shit online RIGHT before the weekend
At least they had free overnight shipping, so there is a small chance I get to play with it this weekend.

MMMMmmm, maybe? Probably not well, but I am sure there is a way to make it work somehow... though that may mean assigning volume up and down to side buttons..Sup wrote:
Can it do volume controlling as well?
I have read that it doesn't natively do much, and needs to be supported through drivers developed with their SDK. I don't really care about it as a media control though, and it is pretty heavily used in the solidworks world (as well as most other 3d modeling and CAD programs) so there is good support there. I just came back from a solidworks convention, and pretty much every computer running SW had one (well actually the baller as fuck version with full color LCD and more buttons). That is actually what got me looking into them.
Saw that they can rotate parts to help line everything up inside assemblies and realized I needed one
I had some stock my grandpa bought me when I was a kid. Like 3 shares that has been sitting because its barely worth doing anything with, but its enough to cover most of the price.
Grandpa was an engineer and I think if he were still with us he would be excited about the uses for this thing, so it seemed like the only thing left to do was buy one
