This thread is about what shit people bought. Pretty easy concept.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

iphone 3gs 32gb (in sexy white): this one is especially for nismo and the camm-h8rz. may sell it in a few weeks, will see whether the bandwagon-hate is deserved. my experience is compared mainly to an older blackberry. at the moment it's wicked-fun. find myself wasting a lot of time on it though, on twitter and other inane endeavors. damn toy!

ya, same story when I first got my HTC Magic. I drained the battery in a few hours (though in my defense, it wasn't fully charged when I got it out of the box). Had the wifi and the GPS turned on and the screen was constantly on ... lol. Great fun these little things.
Enjoy it, though, Uz. Even though you bought the wrong phone, they're still nice toys. Take the hood off, though: You look like a chav.
@Mugen - that looks like a nice build! Have fun with it!

haha that photo was taken at like 8am when I had just woken up... the hoodie is for warmth. Don't think I'm intimidating many old-ladies whilst sat around in my boxers in my living room! besides there aint nothing chavvy about a lazy-comfy ralph lauren hoodie, nigga please!
+ yes I'm seeing how long the battery will last with full brightness, non-stop Wifi and GPS tracking. When I'm sat around though it's permanently docked to my macbook and leeches my home Internet. Gonna go shopping again today to maybe pick up a blu-ray player and a few other new toys for myself, will see how it fares when out and about all day. Currently having so much fun with the Tweetie app (only £3). Among many other things, it has an awesome feature that shows geographically on Google Maps in real-time the people that are tweeting around me. Discovered there's a twitter addict living < 2 miles up the road from me . Great fun.

I couldn't resist this -
There was a an offer on this weird japanese electronic import site where if you went to one of the product pages and entered the konami code, it would add some random item from the site into your shopping cart for $0.01 (shipping was extra, but still).
So now there's some probably-worthless item in the mail and I have no idea what it is. I'll update when it arrives.

Two 19" LCDs, three 17" ones, one Socket 754 computer, one Gb rack switch, one 500VA APC UPS, and one (once-upon-a-time) 22Ah battery. For free, as always.
All the screens work, aside from having bad caps (the same brand caps in all, even. GG "Elite", why are you in all LCDs from around 2005?). The switch is missing a panel and doesn't seem to work without it, and the UPS has some odd problem that I'll look at in the weekend. I haven't tested the computer yet, but I'm quite sure it'll turn on if I use a non-10€ PSU.
EDIT: And I also got a generic B/W laser printer, 100€. The cheapest I could find.

And that mobo is indeed an ASUS K8 series. A K8N4E to be exact. Thinking of putting it in this computer, but I don't know if I can be arsed to reformat it again.

Got it for $580, cheapest iPhone I could find was $900 and it was only a 16GB, so I am extremely happy with my purchase
