How much did it set you back?
I just bought a Firestone Audio USB DAC. It's getting shipped from Canada, should take 5-8 days... but since it's currently Sunday over there, I'd say 7-10 until I actually get it
Mm, pretty sure it is.. Anyway, I was planning on sourcing one here since it will have american style plugs..Sup wrote:

Ultimate Ears 700
Xbox 360 Elite...
It was an expensive week, seeing as these were all bought because my old ones broke...

Why is it when I buy something here it never actually comes from my countrymcminty wrote:

Plan on buying 2 x WDTVs for my Dad/Uncle's bday (they're twins)
5 x replacement foam earbuds for Shure SE210s
Lol, dunno Same thing here I guess.. I can never find anything like this in Aus. They are being shipped from AudiophileProducts, which I figure is the North American supplier for Firestone Audio.Winston_Churchill wrote:

And I like how 90% of the time Canada gets the same rates as the US or only slightly higher. It blows when they inflate it 500% though, it usually only costs $5-10 to send anything across borders

yep... doing it so I can fit my triple radiator and fans at the bottom of the case, I should have just under 1 cm of clearance between that and my motherboard. have to fabricate something for that though. Was back and forth between the i5 and the amd 955 all morning.
EDIT: was also back and forth between Ek waterblocks multioption res, and the DD fillport res all morning, went DD for the better function of it. Also decided on the swiftech plate with mcw 60 for the 5850 instead of the full coverage waterblock, just because of price.

Holy shit that's gonna be one sexy build . No i7? HT is
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Naw... the i7 was gonna be just out of budget... I thought of waiting for a deal on a rampage gene board as that would have been the only way. but that would have taken awhile and I'm impatient and already dont like waiting for the i5 bracket and 5850 plate. I figure that it is gonna take a bit to get this one done, I'm not rushing myself and taking a lot of care and planning to get it just right. So I want the parts here asap so I can do the measurements and start cutting. The sleeving should take some time too.
Once you get the stuff, Nic, be sure to remove the dark plastic casing thingy around the card reader. I have one just like it, and it's far easier to use without it. It's just to rip off.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
guess I'll understand what you mean when I get it, its not really for me though thats for my wife to use with her laptop. thx for the advice though.Freezer7Pro wrote:

The dark plastic, it's just a "tube". You can slide it a centimetre or so in each direction. Either the cable is almost impossible to use, or the card slots are. It's horrendous.Nic wrote:
