God, I love Gamestop. They have a deal where if you pre-order it, you get a FREE upgrade to the limited edition as well as 6 exclusive missions and a full fold-out map. Although I think those come with the LE anyways.

I'm also going to get it for the 360. I doubt my PC will be able to handle it. It's already over a year old and has had some problems in the past. It's not like it's Fallout 3 where it's not that graphics intensive.

I'm trying not to get too hyped for this since it's the last contender for GOTY I think. If it turns out to be awful this'll be the most disappointing year for video games that I can remember. I keep being put off because it's also being released on consoles which automatically means a dumb down but I'm still hoping.

I just pre-ordered a copy of the Limited Edition, so I get all the shit in that plus EB Games gives away a FC2 satchel and drink bottle with every pre-order so I'll have tons of Far Cry shit.

As for system specs, I'm over the minimum requirements in everything but processor - I have a 3.2 ghz Pentium 4 so I'm right on the line. I'm sure the game will be enjoyable regardless and I'll upgrade one of these days.

From what I've heard, it's four slots for weapons, but its done GTA style - One for melee, one handgun, one main weapon (rifle, shotgun, etc) and one heavy weapon (rocket launcher, flamethrower, etc).

And that map editor looks so awesome. Looking at the cranes, buildings and sandbag walls....hmmmm....

I doubt that, I remember seeing a video where the guy was carrying a MP5SD, what looked like a M40 or M24 or R700 weapon, and pistol. Course, the guy might of been using cheats.

So far my favorite method for weapon organization has been the Crysis system. Fists and pistol for 1, 2 main weapons on 2, and explosives on 3.

I think you'll get melee, a sidearm, two "main" weapons, (which would be what you expect, (SMGs, Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles etc.) plus things like RPGs and whatnot,) as well as explosives. This is just from what I've seen in videos. We'll see when it comes out eh, I'm waiting in testicle-tittilating anticipation.
