Anyone noticed that the ejector port of the guns is on the left, but in the main trailer fmv sequence, the ak ejector port is on the right side, which is different to ingame.
Yeah, that annoys me. I don't know why they did that. Hopefully there will be some custom models that would fix it.
i think they did it so that they could show the working parts of the gun in alot more detail

I cancelled by pre-order awhile ago. Not because I don't want to get the game. Just that, I'm going to stop buying games for awhile. I'm happy with FIFA at the moment. I'll get FC2/Midnight Club/Motorstorm/CoD5 whenever afterwards. I don't think there's alot of good games coming after this huge lineup in the late November/December/January timeframe so I'll pick these games up during that time.

Plus my PS3 games collection is already matching up to my PS2 one. Gotta start selling off some of these PS3 games I don't play anymore.

I can see this being a bitch for console hard drives.

also, what percentage of these maps will actually be any fun to play? I mean, if you're playing a different user made map every game, won't most of the games suck?

Well Mig there's going to be an implimented rating system, a shit map will get shit ratings and eventually the theory is that the good maps will rise to the top while the shit maps will fade into obscurity.

Good.

Sounds interesting. Won't really matter on PC. Console modability is a difficult thing to get going, sounds like they're making a good start.

I'm not anywhere near as impressed with the graphics as I am with the lighting.

Seconded. The graphics are pretty standard fare nowadays; the lighting is what really sets this game apart from the others.

Ah right cool. My system can handle Crysis on high, but was a bit laggy at parts. So didn't know if that was the game being gay or my system.

It comes with DRM, but at least this time it's reasonable.

  # You have 5 activations on 3 separate PCs.
  # Uninstalling the game "refunds" an activation. This process is called "revoke", so as long as you complete proper uninstall you will be able to install the game an unlimited number of times on 3 systems.
  # You can upgrade your computer as many time as you want (using our revoke system)
  # Ubisoft is committed to the support of our games, and additional activations can be provided.
  # Ubisoft is committed to the long term support of our games: you'll always be able to play Far Cry 2.

Was gonna get it at release but I might not now, too many games to play coming up. MC:LA comes out same day, and I want that more. So i'll play that then get CoD:WaW, maybe FC2 later, dunno.

Except for the fact that in 99% of the time I don't uninstall my games properly.

Doesn't really matter, when I'm out of installs I'll just pirate a copy and use it with my CD key.

I wonder if the CE will come out in Iceland, I'd pay $70 instead of $50 for that beast. Wooden box...mmmmm...

New trailer. Also, that DRM sounds fantastic. It might actually work!

Why is that almost every other company BESIDES EA (Ubisoft, Bethesda, Stardock) know how to implement DRM correctly and efficiently or simply do without it?
