Last night I spent 2 rounds throwing the stupid hook and none of it registered, it registered that I had played the rounds though.
I guess you know nothing about designing a video game. An animation is anything the player does. There's a walking animation, a reloading your genade laungher animation, a crouching animation. When you are throwing two grappling hooks, the game glitches out and just shows the animation for you firing whatever weapon you had out last. I don't know any easier way to explain it.ghostgr wrote:

I used the method of dropping ammo bags then playing as assult and throwing the grappling hooks and got my Vet badge. Although it does take time for the game to register how many times you throw it, I received the badge within a few hours. Just takes some time to update I think. Also, it did not give the badge to me in game but it showed up in my profile.
Yeh it is a random one.....put if you throw 3000 in a round it should give it to you during game. It is set per round in the award file that would be most likely why.

Nono... it took me about 3 hours in game(s).... different rounds on different servers, since I got banned on one....
The issue is, you have to wait on the reload of the bow.... this takes about 1.5 seconds... then hit mouse or enter to fire... hit G to dismount zipline and hit 6 to get the bow again ready... here you have to wait... the other issue is... depending where you place the zipline... you are moved around... since you want to place it near... to not have to walk... so... keep an eye where you are... to not throw yourselfe down.... ;-))))

I set 7 on my number pad to be select zip, 8 to be the sedonary main fire, and 9 on my numberpad to be sedonary pickup...
Just go in that bunker (seems to go like 2x faster in those bunkers) hit 7, then just hit 8 and 9 fast till either it messes up or your figuers hurt to damn much
