I believe that the same class kit can pick up explosives with the "G"rab button.  Engineers could then clear a path through AT mines, enemy laid or not.  The same with Spec Ops:C4 and Snipers:Claymores.

Sorry but the only confirmed changes are listed on the most recent post on EA, they may still be working on it but currently it will still be possible to shoot while jumping.
