Sorry missed your last post... well, I don't doubt bunnyhoppers could otherwise be good players and have a good aim / tactics et al. What ticks me off abit is the ones who find it hard to just let go.. the 1.4 patch is out there, nuff said. Many talented BF2 develoeprs and test community worked on this new patch and clearly they knew best what the game needed. If they saw to it that bunnyhopping was one of those exploits that had to go, well than damn it had to go! Put in other words.. I have absolutely zero respect for any reasoning that the hard working tester/dev community got it wrong and somehow 2% bunnyhopping abusers are this sort of 'elite' force that know it best. To simply come out and poo-poo on the patch and disparadge many fans of BF2 all at the same time is simply foolish and immature at best.Dr_3V|L wrote:
Too bad. I'm wondering why nobody reacts to my other post... perhaps it's too true what is said there. Love you too.
Oh yes, if you tried, you would have noticed these servers are patched and well... kiddo :)

ROFLAMO... hahaa... geez.. you got me scared there. Sounds really "intimidating".. oh God, please no no..Dr_3V|L wrote:
People who are happy with the removed dolphin diving, please join the unranked infantry servers, with names like elunex, waib... you will get owned and it will be the proof of you sucking ass.
Many top players from around the world play there, and as you will experience while playing at these servers, they will break you even without the 'cheap-ass' bunnyhop-tactics. There are even people who still manage to do the trick, and THAT will be a proof to you, as an ignorant, nOObish person, that bunnyhopping and dolphin diving is far from gone and will allways stay in the game.
nice effect there kido. Like I give a damn about "pro" bunny hoppers. As I said, that was an exploit that had been long overdue for a fix. Now with the 1.4 patch it's gone. Whereas most of the bf2 players will move on and continue enjoying the wonderful game in it's pure form as it was always meant to be, the few newbile preschoolers will head off to those unpatched / unranked servers to continue enjoying hopping across the virtual landscape basking in the glory of their bunnyhopping peers.
it's 0.1 above 1.3!! Therefore must be 0.1 better than 1.3!! ;-)
Yeah... i get ya. It sucks not being able to fly across the map in a split second the moment you see that tank aiming at ya. It sucks not being able to go invisible or teleport right behind the tank with your rocket already auto aimed and auto fired for ya... yada yada yada..souljar wrote:
Only yesterday i had to suffer not being able to do shit after jumping of a ledge to shoot a tank with a rocket because apparently it,s better if there is a delay after this.
My point is that a touch of realism never hurts a good game. Otherwise, people whining about the delay are better off switching over to playing the Mario Brother deathmatch...
Being real though, maybe your strategy of dealing with tanks was abit flawed to begin with? Why do you have to keep jumping around a ledge..? Find a building or inside cover. I doubt a soldier in the field would survive long relying solely on his ability to dance around a tank all the time..
Yes.. the patch 1.4 note expressly states: bunnyhop is no more. Hence, bunnyhop has been removed from the game. If those to whom the bunnyhop is all they looked for in a game such as BF2, then maybe they *are* the noobs that simply abused that one poorly thoughtout feature of the game enough to piss the rest of the players and game devs, resulting in the patch and removal of the noobish feature.Disodium wrote:
Dont have an issue with it, but imo it does take away from the game.
LOL.. simply quit playing the game then! If you love bunnyhopping so much over the rest of the game, then consider building your own game and name it something along the lines of "BunnyhoppField 2". The point of the game will be so that all the non-noobs who pwn can bunnyhopp abit more as opposed to noobs who can't pwn etc. Sounds fun?ToiletTrooper wrote:
It is not lame, now the close infantry combats are bored now: its just walking, aiming and try to hit him, all the same close combats everywhere. Boring.
LOL. I admit I've overabused the whole prone/shoot feature quite abit, but I'd never complain about it being gone in the recent patch. All I'd say is "GOOD RIDDANCE"... I'm all for more realistic physics. It was a joke when bunny hop was in place, it was still a joke when you could fall down on the ground and come back up in standing position within a split second (i'm talking fraction of a second!!). Your complaining about not being able to whore up points doing the prone/splits/shoot/spring up trick is ridiculous. Get over it and get on with playing the game as it should have always been...SargeV1.4 wrote:
as people keep on saying 'lol noob can't sprone spam anymore lol get skills noob lol lol' and such, I was starting to wonder just how many of you actually understand what else the removal of quick movement does.
just my 2c on it and hope you don't take a personal offence at my comment!
