Agreed 100%. It'd certainly encourage better teamplay. As stated I always have a much better game when I'm in a decent squad, even if we're losing..

Actually I meant it more to the point that it would need to be fixed by engineers, not by a box falling on top of it to repair it as if by magic.
Obviously in real life you'd need a crew manning the guns at all times (obviously since they don't fire by themselves), so a good sabotage tactic would be to take out the gunnery crew. Although I could see this leading to each team just constantly shelling their enemy's arty sites to kill the crews.

I think that EA should;
A. Instigate a longer reload time for artillery strikes. It seems to come down every 20 seconds or so. I don't mind it but it gets a little grating when it's constantly coming down
or;
B. Set it up so that the cannons need to be reloaded manually by an engineer/support guy.
plus;
C. Stop the stupid "supply crate lands on artillery and it fixes itself bullcrap". Once it's broken, it's broken.

Heheh, and for all his tankwhoring he's only got the bronze armour badge..
Agreed, it gets kind of irritating on maps like Songhua Stalemate where one guy just circles the Blackhawk around the outposts while his mate blasts everything moving with the unlimited ammo chaingun. Meanwhile you're putting rockets and cannon rounds into this thing from an armoured car and it's just not dying.. A single tail rotor hit should bring down any chopper. Snipers should be able to hit the tail rotor hub with the M95 too, that'd make for some sweet kills.
Agreed here tbh, there are already far too many weapons ingame that can kill a player from way off. A 1s-1k sniper rifle would only add to the irritation. Okay so a .50 cal round would blow someone clean in half in real life, but this is only a game. In real life, bunnyhopping with a grenade launcher doesn't work either..Kobrakai wrote:
Bf2 would be shit if there was a 1 shot kill sniper rifle. Its easy enough to use the sniper rifles we have at the moment.
I hate snipers.
