Does anyone actually use the walker squat tactically? If so, what do you do, aside from a really kickass teabag?

- Is there any reason to squat the walkers?
Teabagging tanks.
On the PAC Mech, it makes the Missiles more accurate.
it also centers the chaingun fire significantly on the EU mech.
I find it quite useful when shooting down the little holes into the Central camp flag on 'Camp Gibraltar'.
Its a pity you cant walk at the same time though.

Yes. just a couple of days ago I was in a Walker and two guys tried putting explosives on me. I squatted, they died.The_Shipbuilder wrote:

How do you squat the walkers ? Is it the Ctrl button ?
you can squat? lol?
Only spent a few minutes in a mech.

Not a very consistant tactic, but I once saw a teammate duck an AT rocket that would have hit him, then gun the other guy to shit. One of the best things I've seen so far.

Of course there is a good reason to squat. Squat is a funny word.
Its good for making your profile smaller and getting into those hard to reach infantry nests
O just hold SHIFT and run around like a moron!
i might even make a mech guide.
a good one.
a good one.
The example of the use of crouching for the Battle Walker would be to kill enemy infantries inside the trenches in Minsk. Normally, when the Walker gets near the trench, the angle of view doesn't allow the walker to target the infantry due to the roofing of trenches. Then, it is time to crouch the Walker and spray those rounds directly or indirectly at the infantry thinking that they are very safe inside the impenetrable fortress of theirs.
I'll be waiting for it.spawnofthemist wrote:

in camp gibraltar, the 2nd to last flag when im using a walker i crouch to see under the entrance to rack up the kills
i went over a box and then squatted it looked like the mech was hanging a shit.
Weak point on mech = knee joints
Squatting = Knee joins not exposed thus no primary weak points

I dodged a missle of some sort by squating. It really impressed the squad I was near and the guy in the gat on the walker, and it probably won us the silo
Thats second, hit the inner parts of the knees with a Pilum, the tiny little dark bits on the knee, 7/8ths health gone and it falls over on whichever side u hit if its a kill.
Give 'em a good ol' knee capping, eh?
Well squatting blocks the mechs frontal leg weakspot, plus you can hide behind billboards better
