whenever i tab out of the game and try to go back in, a black screen comes up and the game never comes back up. i have to ctrl alt delete to end the process and reopen 2142 again. anyone else having this problem and if so, are there any solutions?
yeah i get this problem at times also. Doesnt happen all the times, but happens a lot. I do not know of any solutions though on how to stop it.
You might want to try uninstalling your video drivers through the hardware manager. Then reinstall them (obviously). I had that problem with BF2 and that fixed it.

The best fix is to not alt tab in game.

Yes. I could shut the game down, switch channel and restart the game.
That's a solution far below optimum though.

Assign key settings in your ts.
You can switch channel or host while in game and not even looking at teamspeak.
I guess the black screen pops up because i dont have thesame resulotion on BF2142 as on my desktop.

I have the same problem, I've been playing for a week without a problem but it started today.
This only happened after I made a new soldier for my brother, and changed the settings to high on it, can anyone with same problem recall something similar?
