Where the hell is Finnish??
My native laguage is Finnish, just like over 90% Finnish people.
Seriously, we're a minority here, and you can't include every language in a poll, BUT WHY THE HELL IS SWEDISH THERE?!?!?!?!111ONEONEQUESTIONMARKx7SEVEN
Off topic:
I speak finnish
Oh yes, and I obviously speak english too, like everyone else on these forums.
I can also understand well and talk some swedish and german.
Hmm... reading the first post I might also tell how I learned english
I kind of absorbed it from games/tv and stuff like that. School taught me grammar but you can't really learn a language well if you don't use it.
I could easily get my swedish and german fluent if I used them as much as I use english.
Just not up for spending a few years abroad as an exchange student...

They can live fine with out speaking a word of english and thus they don't have a motive to learn the language.
Русский = Win!
French. Woo woo!!!
But I stopped speaking it at home when I was 7 and my grandma moved in with us. Been speaking english ever since but I still do speak french with my parents sometimes.

Where's Irish, this is an outragE!!!
My native language is baby jibberish. Then I learned English.
Third language I learned, although the fact that American is everywhere has certainly helped, I also believe American is one of the easiest languages known to man, whereas the real English is a bit more difficult especially when it comes to proper pronunciation.Flaming_Maniac wrote:
how hard was it to learn English?
Native is Antwerp which could be considered a dialect of Flemish which in turn could be considered a dialect of Dutch.
