i had 1.3 installed before i bought some new Harddrives was working Ok..i mean iw ould CTD like anyone else. but it still would load up after a crash and i could at least give it another go.
now that i did a clean install of windows recently. everything is runnin awesome on my rig now. solid. except bf2
i will be able to load the game and play for an hour or 2. then the eventual CTD happens, not always though. when i go to restart bf2.exe. i get a program error.
i will upload the error report for anyone who might be able to decode the jargon next time it happens

the only way around it is, to reboot the machine. then it works once. same problem when i try to restart the game
