if you use twitter for more than a day then you very quickly realise that a lot of the replies and engagement with popular political figures are pretty much bots.
it’s a systemic issue that twitter themselves have been trying to find a fix for, for years.

Is the Russian bot presence really just a loopy conspiracy? Hasn't it been oft discussed in tech and social media sections of papers and magazines, left, right, and neutral? With information from the company? Even Business Insider had a bit a few years back talking about how Trump interacted with so many of them on the platform.
