True, but proper dealerships have a reputation to uphold so anything they think is trash is sent to the auctions, scrapped or sold to the 'dodgy' dealers. Yes you do pay a premium, but you have a much better chance of getting a car that wont cost more in repairs then its worth.Dilbert_X wrote:

No idea what 3.5k will buy you in the states, but I'm guessing from what you posted, anything is going to be up for some major engine/gearbox services (unless they've already been done) which unless you can do them yourself are going to cost as much as the car itself.
