God that story fucking pisses me off. Kids these days are just asking for a good beat-down. It's a shame the officers couldn't get a few rounds off... hopefully each little shitbird that was there will serve some long, hard time.

what really irks me is there are people criticizing the use of water cannons... what the fuck would they rather have had happen? maybe the firefighters could have sat down with the "poor misguided youth" and "just talked about it," or perhaps they should have just let them "express their rage"

Firefighters aren't Police, they don't have any jurisdiction to be using force, eg water cannon, on citizens.

Or should every govt employee have carte blanche to use force whenever they like?
